Restoring the vintage
KP HOUSE (commercial space)
6000 sq ft | 3 Floors
KP House is built inside an existing 50-year vernacular structure that defines its core. It is a minimalist expression of structure, space and feasibility.
The project started with strengthening of the building core and then revamping the design elements of the interiors to give it a modern look & feel. The exteriors are designed to compliment the old city charm of the Fort Area (Mumbai).
The office is designed to create an optimised and productive workspace. Clean lines across the entire layout lend to a well organised setup that helps cross-functional teams to achieve more. Special care has been taken to reduce stress by the use of plants as one of the primary elements for interior decor. The reasons are two-fold; they help maintain a healthy, oxygen-rich environment while keeping the space clutter-free. A zen garden graces the first floor, accentuating the pristine palette of the interiors. The cabins are planned in a way that reflect their own unique character and definition without compromising on the feeling of spaciousness.
KP House was transformed from a raw fragile structure into a spacious, clutter-free workspace. Done in collaboration with Regency Architects we managed to create an environment that promotes productivity and good health.
